M wanted some chicken flautas (from Costco) and I had eaten all the salsa earlier today so I decided to make some salsa (while he was out flying his remote-control helicopter) so he wouldn't have to go through the disappointment of there being no salsa.
3 Roma Plum tomatoes from Costco chopped (I love those tomatoes right now, they actually smell like fresh tomatoes!)
1/2-3/4 cup of red onion chopped
lemon juice to taste (lime juice might taste better but we didn't have any)
salt to taste
1 tbsp of Tomatillo sauce (Mexican hot sauce)
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2-3/4 cup corn
1/2-3/4 cup of red onion chopped
lemon juice to taste (lime juice might taste better but we didn't have any)
salt to taste
1 tbsp of Tomatillo sauce (Mexican hot sauce)
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2-3/4 cup corn
It was way yummy and M was very happy :) Fresh food is always better!
Yum! Have you ever tried it with fresh tomatillos? Super tasty. Of course then you have to add jalepenos for the heat.
